5 Reasons This Is Our #1 Family Game Pick for Christmas 2026

The affordable Christmas gift kids, parents AND grandparents actually want to play.

By Catherine Miller

Christmas gifts have become expensive.

You spend hundreds hoping for that huge reaction, only to see the gift sitting untouched a week later.

So this year, we looked for something different.

One gift that gets everyone playing.
One gift that doesn’t need Wi-Fi.
And one gift that doesn’t break the Christmas budget.

Here’s why the MindlyPlay Table Tennis Set became our #1 family game pick for Christmas 2026.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will it fit my table?

The net extends to 63 in (160 cm) and clips onto table edges up to 2 in (5 cm) thick. Need more? The large-clamp version fits edges up to 3.1 in (8 cm).

Does the set include everything?

Yes. Play 1 VS 1 includes one retractable net, two rackets and six balls, plus the free travel bag while the offer is running.

Why are there two nets in the 2 vs 2 pack?

It is two complete sets, packed in two separate boxes. Keep one at home and gift the other, or set up both and play 2 vs 2.

Will it scratch or mark my table?

The clamp pads are soft and the net weighs almost nothing. Customers use it on wood, glass, stone islands and painted folding tables with no marks.

Is this real ping pong?

Yes. Standard 40 mm balls, rubber-faced paddles, regulation-height net. The only difference is that the table is the one you already own.
